Fredericks' research interests include innovation and the challenges facing teams. Her published works appear in Industrial Marketing Management; the Journal of Product Innovation Management; the Journal of Nonprofit and Public Sector Marketing; Group and Organization Management; The Journal of Qualitative Market Research; and The Journal of Small Business Strategy.
